Founders Background
Our founder’s training in machine building stemmed for his love of cars and mechanical systems. At an early age his father and brothers spent every spare minute rebuilding all sorts of engines and transmissions. When something broke, we figured out how to fix it, just because it was a challenge. It was a right of passage to know how to maintenance your own car.
We did a lot of questionable things growing up, like when our dad would want to test newly rebuilt big block Chevrolet motor before he put it back in whatever car or truck we were working on. In more than one instance we literally bolt the transmission on the back of the engine, slap a set of long tube headers on the sides of it, set it on the floor in our garage in Chesterfield, then sat on the transmission and started it with a screwdriver. You can actually hold it down when you rev it if you just hang on tight. All that being said, we like to build high powered precision machinery that goes fast, and spent half a lifetime perfecting the skills needed to be among the best machine creators in the industry.
